Our Food Truck Journey
Las MamacitasNWI was founded in 2019 as a brick & mortar restaurant in Chesterton, Indiana. Unfortunately, due to an overwhelming amount of improvements that needed to be done to the beautiful historic building we were located in, we had no choice but to close. However, the demand for our cuisine remained high. Las MamacitasNWI was reinvented through catering and deliveries and began taking bookings in 2020 for catering opportunities and special events featuring our festive, made-to-order tent setup. Eventually, we built our way up to a food truck and the rest - as they say - is history.
